7.  Lots of Paper!!!!  A calculator with trig functions.  Graph paper ( Not a lot)  A three ring binder ( Cheap!!!!!)

8. OF COURSE THERE ARE RULES I AM “OLD SCHOOL” WELL MAYBE NOT THAT OLD SCHOOL. BUT STILL:

9. I AM NOT YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY You will have to learn that the “ rules ”are not the same!!!!

10. FOR INSTANCE: Your parents may let you or even encourage you to argue. HOW WEIRD IS THAT? They may tell you that you have a “right” to “voice” your opinion.

11. TRUST ME: IT ISN’T HAPPENING IN MY CLASSROOM. I DO NOT ARGUE WITH CHILDREN.

12.  If I ask you to do something I mean:  RIGHT NOW.  Without Comment  And a smile on your face.  I probably have a good reason for it.

24. MAKE-UP? REALLY? REALLY? Actually it’s a safety issue….. Get ready for another incredible story!!!

25. AS FAR AS SUPPLIES ARE CONCERNED: Check out my contract: I AM NOT Wal Mart. It is not up to me to make sure you have supplies.

26. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR SUPPLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes students have trouble with this one.

28. AND DO NOT FORGET: It really does not matter what brand, but get the basic 8 pack at least. And calculators are relatively inexpensive these days.

29. BUT HOW WILL I BE GRADED? DAILY GRADES WILL BE COUNTED ONCE TESTS WILL COUNT TWICE AND A HALF!?!?

30. TO CONTINUE LABS WILL BE COUNTED TWICE AND YOUR TBAT WILL BE COUNTED ONCE

31. AND DO NOT EVER BE IN THIS SITUATION!!!!! YOU ARE WHAT YOU DECIDE TO BE!!

32. ALWAYS EXPECT THE BEST FROM YOURSELF If you insist on doing less that is probably what you will end up with!!!!!!

33.  Each day when you come in there will be a “TBAT” on the board.  This is what we will be doing that day. This way there will be no doubt what we are doing.

34.  It stands for “To Be Able To”.  When we are done at the end of the day you SHOULD have done or be able to do the TBAT.

35. WHEN WE ARE DONE: Papers go in the appropriate tray. Did I mention NEATLY?????

36. When I tell you and class is over You WILL stack books neatly on the shelves.

37. IIf it is in RED it will be on a test somewhere. PPUT IT IN YOUR NOTEBOOK UNLESS I SAY DIFFERENT!!!! HHow do we arrange our binder? FFirst--- NOTES SSecond---- TBATs TThird---- Paper for assignments.

38. Check the board each day to see if you need a book.
