Homework Policy Homework is due at the beginning of class. Missing homework = name in “The Book” and a zero in the gradebook. Turned in late = loss of 10% Missing homework can be turned in until the last week of a grading period.

Grading Policy Grading will be done using a point system. If the student completes the assignment in its entirety, no point value lower than the equivalent to 50% will be recorded. Zeros will only be entered if the assignment is not turned in! Assessments will be given periodically throughout all units. Final assessments (tests) will be given at the end of most units. Assessments may also include final unit projects/presentations/etc. Tests can be redone once for ½ credit given for missed items that are corrected.

Tardy Policy Tardy to school- report to the front office 5 tardies to school per semester = letter home Additional tardies to school could result in: Lunch detention, Before School Detention, Friday Evening School, or ISS. 3 tardies per semester for one class = D slip Additional tardies to class will result in an office referral and additional consequences like: Lunch detention, Before School Detention, Friday Evening School, or ISS.
