2. How does it work?
The face recognition feature implemented on the SBC Mini monitor with Wi-Fi art.6741W allows the automatic opening of a gate or the door of apartment or house (connected to the output of the external unit or to the output of an actuator art.1256) without the use of keys, an app, reader and RF fobs, keypad and codes but only with your own face.
Operation:
The user presses the call button of the external unit
The internal unit rings as usual, the image captured by the camera of the external unit is received by the Mini monitor art. 6741W which sends it to the Comelit Cloud.
If the image captured corresponds to one of those in the list of persons enabled for the function, after a few seconds, the monitor emits a sound and sends the open command as if someone had pressed the “Key” button of the monitor.
All users who are registered with the app on the Mini monitor art W will receive a notification of face recognition success.

3. How to enable the feature1
If the monitor is in BUILDING mode, activate it by pressing the MENU button 2
Open the Comelit app, wait until the connection icon at the top right to turn green, access the app menu and select the Settings icon 3
Access the “Face recognition settings" menu and enable the feature

4. How to register a face 1
Stand in front of the external unit and make a call 2
Wait for the call notification on the smartphone and swipe on the image thumbnail that appears at the bottom to add the face to the face recognition contacts 3
Enter the name of the person you want to add and confirm the addition

5. Verification and addition of users
By accessing the “Face recognition” menu in the app main menu it is possible to view:
The images of users that have been recognised but with a level of reliability not sufficient to automatically open the door. By selecting the image is possible to confirm that the user name is correct.
The images of users who have made a call but who are not part of the users enabled for the face recognition feature. By selecting the image is possible to add them to the contacts or delete them.
By clicking on the "Usage information" menu, is possible to access a small guide that shows the main reasons for failure in face recognition

6. Settings of the face recognition feature
By accessing the menu of face recognition settings is possible:
Enable or disable the feature
Adjust the sensitivity of face recognition
Reset all the settings for face recognition and the stored users
Access the "User management" menu to delete or disable the registered users of the face recognition feature

7. Some important notes about the feature
The face recognition feature is performed by the SBC Mini monitor with Wi-Fi art. 6741W which must be connected to the Internet
There is no limit to the number of storable faces
The feature can be activated on all SBC Mini monitors with Wi-Fi art. 6741W available on the market. Those already installed will be updated automatically (if connected to the Internet)
The feature is compatible with any type of external unit installed (Quadra art. 4893M, Ikall, Ikall Metal, Vandalcom, Switch, 316 Inox Touch, etc.), if the system is compatible with the installation of the SBC Mini monitor with Wi-Fi art. 6741W
Once enabled, the feature of automatic opening with face recognition works in case of a call coming from all the video external units on the system
The monitor stores the last 10 images of faces unrecognised

8. Some important notes about the feature
The images are not saved in the cloud but in the monitor itself
The recognition algorithm is not able to recognise other objects like car license plates, it only recognises human faces
No special port forwarding setup is required for operation
The feature will also be available in Monitor Mini ViP with Wi-Fi art.6742W and monitor Maxi ViP with Wi-Fi art.6842W in the future
The firmware version of the monitor from which this feature is available is 1.3
