3 Intro Thankyou for purchasing our Utree mobile This user-guide has been specially designed to help you get to know the functions and features of your device. Here are some instructional icons to help make this guide easy to follow and understand. These icons will appear throughout the guide so make sure you are aware of them, and understand their meaning.

7 Starting up To turn on your device, simply hold down the lock button and release when the screen lights up with the Utree logo. The phone will then take you through a series of control settings to personalise the setting of your phone. If your phone freezes or you are unable to turn it off or on, by holding down both the lock button and home button at the same time will allow you to reboot the phone. If you are still unable to access your device after multiple times then there maybe a problem with your phone page 8 – Help sites and malfunctions.

9 Sending a text. To send a text, you must tap the message icon and then the notepad and pen symbol in the corner of the page. ‘New message’ will then appear at the top of the page. To add a contact/ number to send to, tap the ‘To:’ symbol and enter in the contact/number. Next you tap the blank bar with the flashing cursor, and enter your text on the keypad. To send the text, simply press send once you have finished typing. Once you have sent your message a ‘S’, ‘D’ and ‘R’ letter will appear next to your message. These indicate whether your message has been ‘sent’, ‘delivered’ or ‘read’. Making a call To make a call you can either tap on the contact icon, find a contact and tap on their number, or enter a number into the telephone icon. Taking a photo To take a photo you must tap the camera icon and simply tap the circle at the bottom of the screen to take a picture. You can rotate your phone to take a picture and swipe left to switch to video Transporting contacts, photos and music. 10 Conecting to wifi. To connect to your local wifi hotspot you can simply go to settings/wifi and your local available wifi networks should appear. By simply clicking on your wifi network address, you can then connect. A password maybe recquired for secure networks. You can turn your wifi on and off by going into settings/wifi and switching to on/off. Other main setting options including Display settings Notifciations Wallpaper Sound Passcode and privacy Can all be changed in the ‘settings’ icon.
