2. What is Wage Gap?
A wage gap is when two groups of people (either by race, gender, sexuality, etc) are getting paid differently for the same work.
On average, the female worker makes around 80 cents for every dollar a man makes.

4. When Will Women get Equal Pay?
In nearly every occupation, women are paid less than men; and in mid-skill occupations women only earn 66% of what men earn.
If the changes to wage gap continues at its current rate , it’s estimated that women won’t get equal pay until the year The wage gap is even worse for women of color; Hispanics would have to wait until 2224 and African Americans wouldn’t see equal pay until 2119.
If we had equal pay, the poverty rate of women and their families would be cut in half, as well as add $513 billion to the national economy.
