Hello families!
Welcome back! We hope you had an amazing winter break!
We have had a mild winter so far. However, it is starting to get chilly. Please send your child to school with appropriate winter gear They will be having outside recess unless it is 5 degrees outside (with wind-chill).

2. Our Learning Reading Writing Math Science
In reading we are continuing our informational unit. We are working in book clubs learning more information about different topics. We are using what we know about nonfiction text features to help us.
Writing
In writing we are working on our All About books. We are including a table of contents and learning how paragraphs start with a big idea statement and supporting details.
Math
In math we are working on identifying 3D shapes and learning about how fractions are equal shares of shapes.
Science
In science we learning about predators and prey as well as different habitats animals live in.
