Go here to learn more about internship opportunities through Rutherford Works. High School Internship Program The Rutherford Works High School Internship Program is a partnership with local employers, who offer students productive and meaningful work assignments with a learning component ideally related to their area of interest. 2 Work Ethic Distinction Information

3 What is it? Work Ethic Distinction is awarded to graduating seniors who demonstrate qualities indicating they are college and career ready. The award was created by the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.

4 What does this mean for me?
Students who earn a Work Ethic Distinction: Receive a Work Ethic Distinction seal on their diploma Have the opportunity to purchase a Work Ethic Distinction cord from Jostens ($10) to wear at graduation Are guaranteed an interview with these companies. This interview could be for a part time or full time position during college. If you go to college outside of Rutherford County, you will still be guaranteed the interview if you return for summer jobs or after graduation.
