6 Sentences V – Vocabulary ( looking for describing words)
C – Connectives ( joining 2 sentences together) O – Openers ( different ways to start the sentences) P –Punctuation ( . , ! ? )

7 Homework Children work hard in school and are challenged appropriately. Homework should not be tricky, its recapping work they have already done or making them recall number facts speedily. Children’s mental well being is of the utmost importance. Spend time as a family watching a movie, reading a book, go for a bike ride, play with friends. Homework can wait! No evidence to suggest that homework in Primary school has any benefit to children.

9 Health and Wellbeing In Primary 6 we have 2 hours of PE each week.

Term 1 Term 2 Term 3 Term 4 Environmental Tourism Scottish Parliament Conflict (WW2) Significant Scot in History Children will have a chance to choose how they present their work during this area of the curriculum, they will be given more ownership of what they want to learn about.
