Ms. Nese 6th Grade Math Classroom Expectations Be on time for class Be prepared with all supplies and completed homework Ask questions Use resources and time efficiently and properly Listen carefully and follow directions Course Description The 6th grade mathematics course will provide you with an opportunity to use mathematical reasoning, guided math practices and blended learning opportunities to develop skills needed to use math associated to the common core successfully. Homework Policy Homework is an important part It is your responsibility to complete assignments missed during a scheduled absence. They will be in the assigned area when you return. Homework missed will be due the following day. Test will be completed upon return from an absence. of the educational process. 2 Positive & Negative Consequences
Ms. Nese Policies & Procedures Testing: You will be permitted to use your notes on quizzes. Test must be taken without use of notes so you are encouraged to study. Test make-ups will be assigned at the teacher’s discretion. Food & Electronic Devices: You are permitted to have a healthy snack to enjoy during independent work time. Electronic devices should not be seen or heard during class unless permitted by the teacher. Entering Class: Gather all needed materials, quickly find your seat, place your homework on your desk to be credited and begin working on the bell ringer assignment. Exiting Class: Materials and work must be turned in before you leave class. You will be dismissed by the teacher.. If you meet classroom expectations you will benefit from positive consequences and rewards.
