2 Lesson 29 Objective To learn to format messages.

3 E-mail Heading The heading generally includes

8 Inbox Search & Sort Two features that are used to manage messages are Search and Sort.

9 Inbox Search & Sort The Search feature finds specific messages based on a word, phrase, or other text.

10 Inbox Search & Sort The results of a search are normally shown by date; However, the Sort feature can be used to organize messages in a variety of ways.

11 Inbox Search & Sort The more common sorts arrange e-mail messages
by date, by subject, or by name of the person sending the message.

12 Inbox Search & Sort The sort shown below organizes messages by sender (from), thus placing all the messages from Parker together and all messages from Carter together.

13 Lesson 30 Objective To learn to use the Calendaring, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes features.

14 Calendar The Calendar feature is used to record and display appointments electronically. The calendar can be displayed and printed daily, weekly, or monthly.

15 Contacts The Contacts feature is used to store information about your associates.

16 Contacts Generally, the person’s name, business address, phone number,
and address are recorded. Hard copies can be printed in a variety of formats (card style, booklet style, phone directory style, etc.).

17 Tasks The Tasks feature allows you to record tasks that you are responsible for completing.

18 Notes The Notes feature allows you to write yourself a reminder.
