No Role in context of Future Leaders Program This role is part of the Future Leaders Program, which aims to attract and develop individuals external to BP with diverse experiences and leadership capability to bolster the Downstream distinctive capability leadership pipelines. The program consists of 2x24 months rotations within a distinctive capability area, and will include targeted leadership development and capability building. This role is the first of two rotations in the Commercial distinctive capability. Role Purpose The Marketing Supply Coordinator is accountable to identify opportunities to create strategic and long term value across local supply sale/purchase and international import/export channels of trade within the portfolio. Through collaboration with the Refinery, Iberia Supply, France Supply, ESA Strategy and IST, maximizing the overall gross margin contribution to the FVC monetising all refined product and biofuels. Support Iberia Marketing Supply team members when needed. Team membership The Supply Coordinator is a member of the Iberia Marketing Supply team which is responsible for the allocation of the Castellon Refinery production in the most optimal channel of trades as well as ensuring the competitive supply of our B2B/B2C marketing businesses. The team is part of the wider Iberian Midstream organization which also has links to France. The optimization of hydrocarbons and biofuels is an integral part of the team´s agenda. Specific Role Description Insert the key responsibilities and activities to be undertaken by this incumbent: Incorporate a forward market view with economic risks/ rewards and develop long term strategy recommendations that ultimately deliver the lowest cost of supply and biocompliance Define and execute the required optimisation analysis that allows maximum netback optimisation Collect supply market information, analyse market data and provide mass balance and Supply Strategy for each competitor Analyse commercial strategic value of Supply assets and potential collaboration with 3rd parties in Iberia. Analyse long term market trends, regulation, constrains and opportunities and propose optimum strategies to the business LT Ensure implementation long term Biofuel optimization strategy Identify long term commercial opportunities across Iberia and cross-assets to position Iberia business in the best possible competitive position Implement long term commercial strategy agreed Support of other members of Marketing Supply Team and cover when needed Explore with IST risk management options to manage exposure of Biofuels Identify and evaluate new options to maximise end-to-end Supply chain value through alliances, new assets, new supply sources of hydrocarbon and biofuels Collaborate with other SC to bridge long term strategy and short term opportunities Leadership skills and technical competencies (aligned to a Distinctive capability) Leadership Expectations and behaviours: Maximizing value: Take ownership to create enduring value through identification and delivery of opportunities.
