9 The midsagittal plane, also known as the midline, divides the body from top to bottom into equal left and right halves.

10 The coronal plane, also known as the frontal plane, is located at right angles to the sagittal plane. It divides the body into anterior (front) and posterior (back) portions.

11 The transverse plane, also known as the horizontal plane, divides the body into superior (upper) and inferior (lower) portions. This division can be at the waist or any other level across the body.
