Details Website: Western Wales Websites including Western Telegraph Advertiser: Vincent Davies Ad Format: Post-it, Overlay & MPU Results Impressions: 26,085 Clicks: 1,203 Click Through Rate: 4.61% Campaign details (from our.newsquest - West Wales sold a campaign to Vincent Davies, a department store who wanted to launch their new e-commerce venture selling handbags and jewellery. The customer had previously had site takeovers when running an in store promotion, and also mini banners as a general upsell to the general advertising.  They wanted to release their new e-commerce site with a bang and were offering a 10% online discount which they advertised with us and also on Facebook. The week before the launch of the site the customer ran a post it note, supported by a home page MPU with a countdown to the launch of the site for 5 consecutive days. Once the site launched, they ran with an overlay again supported by the MPU, promoting the store launch and the 10% discount. The overlay was limited to 3 views per unique user in 24 hours. The overall regional campaign for the week delivered 26,085 impressions with 1203 click throughs, achieving a CTR of 4.61% overall, and the customers favoured site, delivered 16,162 impressions and achieved 888 clicks, with an impressive CTR of 5.49%. When the cost of the of the overlay and MPU campaign for the second week is taken with the success of the CTR the customer achieved a CPC of just 54p, which for a jewellery and handbag e-commerce section is extremely competitive.
