2 IMPORTANT RULES FOR ALL GAMES
Racquet Safety Do not slam or DROP racquets on the floor or against the net Be aware of your surroundings when swinging the racquet…Swing under control Do not touch the nets please!!!

What does a game look like????

5 Game Rules… Serving -Serve must be at waist level or below
-The server serves up front and the receiver for the opposite team is also up front (diagonal). -Player A from team 1 serves from the right hand side of their court to the opposite side of the court to team 2. -If team 1 wins the rally then player A continues to serve, this time from the left hand side of the court across diagonally to team 2. -Player A continues to serve alternating sides until he/she loses the point, at this time team 2 gets to serve (the receiving team DOES NOT alternate sides).

6 Game Rules… -Whoever is on the right hand side of the court when team 2 wins the rally shall serve first. -They continue to serve, alternating sides until they lose the rally. -When team 2 loses the rally, the serve is then given back to team 1, where the next player takes their turn serving.

7 Faults on the serve Each individual player gets one fault during their serve. Examples: Birdie does not go over the net Birdie does not land in the proper service court (should go to the diagonal player) Birdie lands out of bounds

8 Types of hits Forehand – in front (front of hand if no racquet)
Backhand – in back (back of hand if no racquet)

9 Game Rules… Game Play: 6-8 minute rotations To begin the game:
Rock, paper, scissors to see who serves Rally scoring Games to 15 points Must win by 2 points 6-8 minute rotations
