No school this Friday due to a teacher staff development. Please return homework packet on Thursday and the Vocabulary and Mountain Math tests will be on Thursday as well. We have chosen the character parts for our Jack and the Beanstalk play which is on March 3rd at 10:30 A.M. Last week, we sent home the entire play packet for your child to practice nightly. Nightly Homework
Read every night for minutes. Fill out Reading Log and return Thursday.
Practice for Spelling Test week 18. Use February’s Speller’s Choice Menu and Spellingcity.com/losprimeros/.
Study for Vocabulary Test week 18. Use Sight Word Activity Sheet , Fry Words App, or SpellingCity.com/losprimeros.
Muscle Math: study week 18 (Subtraction- Fact Families 3,4,7 and 4,5,9). XtraMath.org – use website 2x this week.
Continue having your child practice their school Google password to keep it in their memory.
Pick one of the February poems and start to memorize. We are continuing to recite January poems this week. Your child can still recite the October, November and December poem(s) if they have not been completed yet.
This Week’s Homework:
Math: Lesson 24 and 25
Spelling: Write words three times each on lined paper provided (keep at home).
Social Studies/Writing: “Our Sixteenth President” comprehension sheet. Please write answers in complete sentences.
Citizenship: “My Acts of Kindness Hearts” due by Wednesday, Feb. 15th
Use Storyline online or HMH app to listen to a book and read book bag.
Vocabulary and Mountain Math Tests will be on Thursday this week!
