Today we are sending home a Valentine Mailbox instruction sheet along with the class list. Please return your child’s decorated box by Thursday, February 9th. Also, it would be great if your child brings their valentines the same day in a plastic/ziplock bag to keep them organized and it’s easier for them to pass out. Thank you! Nightly Homework
Read every night for minutes. Fill out Reading Log and return Friday.
Practice for Spelling Test week 15. Use January’s Speller’s Choice Menu and Spellingcity.com/losprimeros/.
Study for Vocabulary Test week 15. Use Sight Word Activity Sheet , Fry Words App, or SpellingCity.com/losprimeros.
Muscle Math: study week 15 (Subtraction- Twos). XtraMath.org – use website 2x this week.
Continue having your child practice their school Google password to keep it in their memory.
Pick one of the January Poems and start to memorize. Your child will recite one of the poems to the class at the end of the month. We are currently reciting the October, November and December poem(s) if they have not been completed.
This Week’s Homework:
Math: Lesson 12 and 13
Spelling: Write words three times each on lined paper provided (keep at home).
Science: Penguin Facts Packet ~due Friday.
Writing: Start “How to Build a Snowman” writing assignment ~due next Friday, January 27th.
Use Storyline online or HMH app to listen to a book and read book bag.
Return Homework Packet and Reading log Friday!
Friday-Sunday: Read 20 minutes nightly.
