6 Academic Assessment Goal not met Strengths: Weaknesses:
Huge improvement over last year Strengths: Academic teams w/ competitions between teams Got SQD SGTs invested in cadet’s academics Better control of ESP environment than previous years AO, TAC, and Faculty Advisor on top of at-risk academic counseling Weaknesses: Not much emphasis put on academic support center and other help Not many upper-class cadets making themselves available to help

7 Strategy Continue academic teams
Strongly enforce positive and quiet ESP environment Get SQD SGTs involved in maintaining ESP environment

8 Military Assessment Avg parade results last year
Avg parade results this year Class 1 Offenses last year Class 1 Offenses this year Suitability boards last year Suitability boards this year 1C 15.43 10 4 3 1 2C 3C 4C N/A Total 8 9 2

9 Military Assessment Goal partially met Strengths: Weaknesses:
Huge improvement from last year Strengths: Huge improvement at parade Holding cadets to the standard Not allowing cadets to skate by/fly under the radar Leadership keeping track of merit/demerit totals Weaknesses: Moral courage of other cadets to hold each other accountable Resentment toward the chain of command Some upper-class still hold on to “trailer park” mentality

10 Strategy Ensure drill master is making corrections during parade practice Consider a remedial drill for those who do not perform well at parade Make sure this larger cadre is well versed in drill so the incoming 4C are taught properly and have a good foundation to build on Start out tough and firm when it comes to upholding the standards Remain consistent throughout the year Treat all classes the same with regard to punishments Think about possible alternative punishments for minor offenses

12 Athletics Assessment Goal not met Strengths: Weaknesses:
Accountability at regimental PT Increased role of PSGs Majority of upper-class and 4C cadets go the gym regularly Senior mentors creating TAC-approved workout plans w/ mentee Weaknesses: Last minute planning for regimental PT Ath O did not council CPFT or HT/WT failures Large amounts of people falling out of PT runs

13 Strategy Athletic officer needs to make more detailed plans for regimental PT Do not allow the athletic officer to do 11th hour planning Have Ath O make PT plans with those who fail the CPFT or HT/WT Have company leadership take the PT test early to assist those who struggle Provide rewards to encourage cadets to shoot for the maximum on the CPFT instead of the minimum

14 Moral/Ethical Goal not met
No honor violations or sexual harassment/assaults Community Service 516 hours to date Strengths: HA stayed involved in company Weaknesses: Community service opportunities got out to the company late Not much emphasis put on community service opportunities

15 Strategy Continue to keep HA involved in company
Both UC and 4C Get community service opportunities out to company earlier Put out a semester schedule of service opportunities Talk to company about honor more times than just LTPs and prior to exams

16 Company Commander/ TAC Comments
The company showed a huge improvement overall In all measurable areas The moral of the company remains low because a certain group wants it to be low Mostly seniors, but there will be stragglers Continue regular training meetings with company staff officers
