1. Regatta Volleyball – Main Rules
Format is 4 – a side
Each team should have one lady on the field at any
one time during the match
Substitution only by rotation or injury
Unlimited number of players may rotate-in,
but only 1 at the time
The ball must go over the net in maximum 3
Ball may be played by any body part
‘Double touch’ not allowed with the exception of block
Touching the net is not allowed
Crossing the line under the net is not allowed
Balls crossing outside ‘antennas’ are invalid
Balls crossing via the top of the net are valid,
with the exception of the service
A ball touching the line is ‘in’
Scoring only on service
A ‘net service’ is fault, service to opponent
Blocking a service is not allowed, spiking is
At ‘double fault’ point will be replayed
Before service the ball should be ‘dry-cleaned’
In case of dispute or unforeseen situation the referee decides !

Format for pool matches: 2 times 10 min, set scores will be totaled,
old rules (scoring only when on service)
Winner gets 2 points. When total scores are equal
(match undecided), each team gets 1 point.

4. Regatta Volleyball – FRIDAY
QUICK SCORE WILL APPLY IF REQUIRED FOR ANY REASON LIKE TIME!

5. Regatta Volleyball – FINAL
1ST AND 2ND PLACE WILL GET MEDALS. 1ST PLACE WILL BE HONOURED WIH A CUP AS WELL!!
