3 Competition Structure
Participants will be divided into teams of 5-6 Each team will have two hours to prepare their multi-media presentation You are given a maximum of 8 minutes to present, followed by 5 minutes of questioning Participants should research/review the articles provided prior to the competition; in order to be familiar with the topic

4 Presentation Format Presentation should be no longer than 8 mins
Charts, graphs, pictures, etc… should be simple and easy to read Each slide should have between 3-6 bullets (no paragraphs, uncluttered) Presentation format may vary The presentation should be clear, concise, and compelling

Analyze data about assigned cities in relation to e-bikes Information such as: Per capita income Bike programs/paths/infrastructure Growth profile Which city demonstrates the greatest prospects for success in the e- bike market? What makes a city more “Bike Friendly”?

Direct Competition Who are they and what is their market share? What are the competitor’s strengths and weaknesses? What potential opportunities (if any) do competitors make available? Indirect Competition Who/what are they? What potential threats does indirect competition pose? What potential opportunities (if any) does indirect competition create?

13 Strategies & tips Come to the Challenge PREPARED!!!
Social loafing is a NO. Don’t come unprepared with the assumption that your teammates will have done the reading. There is far too much to do on the day of the challenge to show up without prior knowledge about the case. Do Your Research! Study all 5 Cities and their e-bike market and make use of the resources provided for you. Study Bosch and the e-bike market.
