coal industry in the early Industrial Revolution was a very important role. Through it Circulate the steam engine, railway station and the ship was operated.

4 2. Country1 : China This region was China's largest coal reserves.
However, at that time weaknesses were two kinds.

5 So, China's coal industry did not help economic growth.
2. Country1 : China ● First, China's coal reserves in northwestern Shaanxi were away from the center of population and economic activity. So the water transport was impossible. ● Second, Geological problem. China's mines are dry and there was always the danger of spontaneous combustion. So China has developed a sophisticated ventilation technology. However, utilization of this technology was low. So, China's coal industry did not help economic growth.

In contrast to China, this place had two advantages.

3. Country2 : England ● First, This area was near the economic center that could easily use transportation at Wigeon port. ● Second, England mines were weak in the flood. So, machine has invented to lose water. It led to the demand for steam engines. This was the driving force behind the industrial revolution. So, England's coal industry did help economic growth.

8 4. Conclusion ● At that time, these resource could affect region’s proximity and geological factors about economic growth. But it wasn’t essential factors. Because, nowadays many countries can import their shortage resources.
