SREBP-1c mRNA abundance in proximal small intestine (SI) (A, B) and midcolon (C) of nontumored animals at 6 weeks (A) and 23 weeks (B, C) post-AOM. Real-time reverse transcription PCR quantification of SREBP-1c mRNA was performed and the data normalized to cyclophilin mRNA. The mean value for the CAS-AOM group was set at 100%. P values indicate significant differences between the WPH-AOM and CAS-AOM groups as well as the CAS-vehicle-treated and CAS-AOM groups.
