Minister: The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

12 People: Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.

13 Minister: I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! People: Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!

14 Nothing but the Blood Hymn # 337

15 What can wash away my sin
What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus; What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

16 O precious is the flow That makes me white as snow; No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

17 For my pardon this I see Nothing but the blood of Jesus; For my cleansing, this my plea, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

18 O precious is the flow That makes me white as snow; No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

19 Nothing can for sin atone, Nothing but the blood of Jesus; Naught of good that I have done Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

20 O precious is the flow That makes me white as snow; No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

21 This is all my hope and peace, Nothing but the blood of Jesus; This is all my righteousness Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

22 O precious is the flow That makes me white as snow; No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

24 Corporate Prayer of Confession ALL: Lord, we have not always watched for You, but have occupied ourselves with our own concerns. We have not waited to find Your will for us. We have not noticed the needs of the people around us.

25 We have not acknowledged the love that has been shown to us
We have not acknowledged the love that has been shown to us. Forgive us for our lack of watchfulness. Help us to wait to know Your will. Help us to look out for the needs of others. Help us to work and watch for Your coming.

26 SILENT PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING AND CONFESSION

27 Assurance of Pardon (Hebrews 12. 2; Isaiah 60
Assurance of Pardon (Hebrews 12.2; Isaiah 60.2) Minister: Look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

28 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The peace of the Lord be with you always. People: And also with you.

32 I’ve got love like an ocean, I’ve got love like an ocean, I’ve got love like an ocean in my soul.

33 I’ve got love like an ocean, I’ve got love like an ocean, I’ve got love like an ocean in my soul.

34 I’ve got joy like a fountain, I’ve got joy like a fountain, I’ve got joy like a fountain in my soul

35 I’ve got joy like a fountain, I’ve got joy like a fountain, I’ve got joy like a fountain in my soul

37 Old Testament Reading (Isaiah 40:31) (NIV) “…those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

38 New Testament Readings. Luke 6:35 (NLT) 35 “Love your enemies
New Testament Readings Luke 6:35 (NLT) 35 “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for He is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.

39 Ephesians 4: (NLT) 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

40 James 5:7-11 (NCV) 7 Brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord comes again. A farmer patiently waits for his valuable crop to grow from the earth and for it to receive the autumn and spring rains. 8 You, too, must be patient. Do not give up hope, because the Lord is coming soon.

41 9 Brothers and sisters, do not complain against each other or you will be judged guilty. And the Judge is ready to come! 10 Brothers and sisters, follow the example of the prophets who spoke for the Lord. They suffered many hard things, but they were patient.

42 11 We say they are happy because they did not give up
11 We say they are happy because they did not give up. You have heard about Job’s patience, and you know the Lord’s purpose for him in the end. You know the Lord is full of mercy and is kind.

43 Minister: The grass withers, and the flowers fade, but the Word of the Lord is forever. People: Thanks be to our great God
