THE CALL TO WORSHIP (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:11) The word of God IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE, Sharper than any DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD; it judges the thoughts AND ATTITUDES OF THE HEART.

All Scripture is God-breathed AND IS USEFUL FOR TEACHING, for rebuking and correcting AND TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. Your word have I hid in my heart, THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.

THE FIRST QUESTION THE QUESTION OF EXISTENCE: WHY AM I ALIVE?

You were made BY GOD and you were made FOR GOD to fulfill God’s PURPOSES

THE SECOND QUESTION THE QUESTION OF SIGNIFICANCE: DOES MY LIFE MATTER?

Every one of us is living at one of three levels:  THE SURVIVAL LEVEL  THE SUCCESS LEVEL  THE SIGNIFICANCE LEVEL

THE THIRD QUESTION THE QUESTION OF INTENTION: WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?

IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT GOD’S PURPOSE IS FOR YOU (1) You’ve got to talk to your Creator (Prayer) (2) You’ve got to read the owner’s manual (The Bible) (3) You’ve got to listen to how others have soughtto discover God’s purpose in their lives. (Fellowship)

SO...THE FIRST of FIVE PURPOSES FOR USIN THIS LIFE IS TO BE LOVED BY GOD. That’s’s WHY God created us so He could love us! 1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that He FIRST LOVED US and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

NEXT SUNDAY, we will discover the SECOND of our FIVE purposes in this life It has to do with our RESPONSE to God for FIRST loving us. The Second Purpose for us in this life begins with the letter “W”
