2 Vendor Registration Process
This presentation will inform vendors how to receive notifications regarding competitive solicitations offered through the School District of Palm Beach County for: Goods Services and Construction related solicitations Vendors will be required to register with Onvia DemandStar, our online e-procurement service.

3 How it Works Once our agency releases a solicitation, you are notified by of fax when an opportunity matches your business category. Vendor will be able to: Download competitive solicitation documents right from your desktop Submit your response electronically

4 Registration Process Overview
Register your company on-line for free with DemandStar.com Within 48 hours you should receive your account login information Receive or fax notifications of competitive solicitations when released

5 Step 1. Register for Free Go online to our e-procurement service:
To register for FREE & other options Select “Free Agency” from the list __ Free Agency: Free (Receive notification from a single agency at no cost with free document downloads)

6 Step 2. Enter Company Information
Select our agency from the dropdown list You should be notified within 48 hours when your account login is setup. Once you receive your account login confirmation,

7 Step 3. Search Solicitations
Login to: Search from the dropdown:

8 View Solicitation Documents
Under Actions on the right column Click on Details or Download Login to view & download documents

10 Submitting Bids/Proposals
Follow all instructions in the Invitation to Bid or other competitive documents when responding. Be sure to read all documents carefully. The District will only consider offers which have been uploaded and submitted prior to the bid closing date and time on DemandStar.com. Pay special attention to opportunities for pre-bid conferences, clarifications, addendums etc. Uploaded documents may not exceed 30MB per document and 100MB maximum per vendor response. Allow plenty of time. Bids or proposals received late will not be considered

11 Construction Pre-qualification
Construction projects which are purchased based upon price and budgeted at over $300,000 require vendors to be Pre-Qualified in order to participate. For more information Go to: To Go online to our e-procurement service: Construction Purchasing Phone (561)
