1 FlashBack-4 Development

2 Micro-FlashBack-4 Introduction
Similar size and functions to the current FlashBack-3C DVR range with the addition of: Multiple SD inputs, simultaneous recording of up to 2 or 4 SD channels. 1 x HD input to a dedicated micro-Cam or HDSDI at 720/P60 or 1080P/30 via adaptor module Latest generation chip technology: >8 times the processing power vs FB3 with lower power consumption High profile H.264 compression: Provides longer record times and lower bit rate streaming for the same video quality HD Recordings require typically no more than 30 minutes per GB

3 FlashBack-4 Introduction 2
Ethernet IP Interface: Advanced webpage interface for remote control configuration and viewing (no FindMe) Streaming video & audio as RTSP and to Milestone / Onvif Fast download of files / clips Security / Evidential: Optional AES encryption (recording & streaming) SHA-256 file hash coding Advanced motion detection Initially two hardware versions: micro-FlashBack-4 (small and as low power as possible with external expansion modules) Standard FlashBack-4 (a fully featured unit to follow)

4 Micro-FlashBack-4 Introduction
Similar in size and function as current FlashBack-3C Single i-Conex HD input: Records 2 channels of Standard Def or 1 channel of HD i-Conex USB interface Connection to external peripherals. Low power consumption: Typically < 1.5 Watts Lower heat dissipation and improved battery life I-Conex HD I-Conex USB

5 Interfaces I-Conex USB interface.
DC Power and trigger inputs i-Conex USB Ethernet / RS232 2 x Audio I-Conex HD I-Conex USB interface. Fast data interface for future expansion modules such as: WiFi modem 4G modem External storage USB Hub Mounting system for modules (side by side and / or above each other)

6 Micro-FlashBack-4 i-Conex HD input
i-Conex HD video input: Same connector as standard def i-Conex input. Auto detects HD or SD inputs Supports 2 x standard def inputs (simultaneous record) Or dedicated HD micro-camera: Very low current draw Good low-light capability 720/P-30 HD record rate i-Conex HD connector Or external HDSDI converter (720P/60, 1080P/30)

7 Micro-FlashBack-4 with HDSDI converter
External i-Conex HD to HDSDI converter box Small size Powered by the micro-FB4 (requiring ~0.5 Watts) Mounting (side by side and / or above one another?)

8 Standard FlashBack-4 Records to removable SDXC SD card of up to 1TB
Status LED SD Card (up to 1TB) Rec Start / On button Rec Stop / Off button Records to removable SDXC SD card of up to 1TB 2 x SD card slots? HDSDI input via BNC connector: Supports 720/P60 and 1080/P30 HD formats i-Conex interfaces similar to FlashBack-3 plus: 2 x i-Conex HD inputs offering: 4 x SD inputs (simultaneous recording of the 4 channels) 1 (2) x HD input to dedicated 720/P30 micro-camera SD video monitor output includes downscale of HD input.

9 Standard FlashBack-4 Interfaces
Size < 110 x 90 x 17 mm (4.3 x 3..5 x .7 inches) Low power consumption: < 2 Watts when recording < 3 Watts when recording and streaming.
