Long-term transformational approach to life and work Begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, and serve first Conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead Others highest priority needs are being services Listens receptively Becomes a question-asker, not a solution-giver Uses foresight and courage Uses persuasion Looks for alternative for use of power and control Ability to appreciate ambiguity, and/or paradox

10 Servant Leadership is marginally organizational, as it is primarily attitudinal
