COMMON APPLICATION COMMONAPP.ORG Register for the Common Application after August 1 st Under Common App, click Education, fill out section, add at least 1 college Sign FERPA Release Authorization Complete Common App Account Matching process on Family Connection using email address used when registering on commonapp.org and Date of Birth

5. Adding Colleges On Naviance, Click the Colleges Tab Click “Colleges I’m Applying To” Click Add To This List Click Lookup Find College and Click link with college name The college is added to the “College” column. Continue adding colleges until finished Indicate the type of application: common app or not and if a transcript is needed Add Colleges

6. Document Request You can request the following college application materials in Family Connection: Teacher Letters of Recommendation

7. Requesting Transcripts To Request a transcript, please come into the Counseling Center and fill out a purple form. DO NOT request a transcript on the Naviance/Family Connection site. The fee for requesting a transcript is $4.00 and needs to be paid to Mrs. Wood in the Counseling Center.

8. Requesting Letters of Rec. BEFORE requesting a recommendation letter, ASK your counselor or teacher PERSONALLY. From the “Colleges I’m Applying To” list, go to the “Teacher Recommendations” section Click the Add/Cancel Requests link Choose a teacher from the drop down menu Repeat steps to add more teachers Click the Update Request button to complete the request.

9. Other Document Request Students applying to Common Application destinations may request 2 additional documents through their Common Application account: Common Application Fee Waiver Early Decision I or II Agreement

10. NCAA If you need a transcript to fulfill NCAA eligibility requirements, you must submit the request through the NCAA website. This request will appear within your Naviance account to prepare and send. www.eligibilitycenter.org
