3. Internal Application Process 15 school day turn over time! (over 1700 school packets processed last year) You should have already filled out the yellow “Authorization for Release of Transcript” form and returned in to the counseling office. Complete a “Recommendation Letter Follow-up Form” for each teacher you ask for a recommendation in the spring and get that form to them asap. Teacher have until 10/15 to upload their recommendation letters

4. Internal Application Process continued Submit an “Application Submission Form” for each college to which you have applied. The 15 day processing time begins when this form is received in the counseling office. 13. Completing The FERPA Agreement Applicants will submit the FERPA decision on their Common Application account FERPA question is found within the “Assign Recommenders” tab of your application. There is a “release authorization” to click on and make your decision. In order for the counseling office to send transcripts, counselor recommendations, and teacher recommendations, this FERPA portion MUST be completed and your NAVIANCE account linked with your Common App account

19. Completing the Senior Letter of Recommendation Survey Student – If the student hasn’t already done so, we ask all students to complete their survey. The counselors use this information to assist in completing their letter of recommendation. Parent – The parent also has there own version of the survey to complete. The parent survey can be completed only by using the parent account and can not be found on the student’s account. Completing this survey assists counselors to complete the student’s recommendation.
