19 Celebrity: Dennis Rodman Behaviors: Cross-dressing, rapidly changing his hair color, friendship with Korean dictator, kicked a cameraman, “married himself”. Analysis of Behavior: Biological: He has a high level of estrogen that makes him feel as though he should wear women’s clothing. Psychoanalytic: Rodman was traumatized as a child because his parents wouldn’t let him go trick or treating. He is unconsciously working through this memory and trauma by dressing up excessively. Behaviorism: The attention Rodman gets from his antics is a reward to him. He continues to act this way because people give him attention for it. Humanism: Rodman believes his true potential is to settle the conflict between North Korea and the USA. This explains his unlikely friendship with the Korean leader.
