Kelly Hoyer Position: Defensive Specialist Parents: Mary and Alan Hoyer Advice to the team: “No matter what, always keep your head up and be the best you can possibly be.” What Kelly will miss the most about volleyball: “ I will miss the girls I see everyday.” Kelly’s greatest volleyball memory: “Freshman year cuts, Coach Pam told me I would get to play libero. Didn’t know what it was, but got excited when she told me I got to wear a different color. ” Kelly plans on attending Michigan State University after graduation. “Thanks to my mom, for supporting me and coming to every game even when they are far away.” From Coach Pederson: “These ladies are going to be greatly missed in the seasons to follow. Each of these girls have left a lasting impression on the program and on me. I have seen Lisa every day in practice for the last four-years, so not seeing her is going to take some adjusting. She is the first four-year varsity player to go through my program. I will miss Sam, who I have had the pleasure of coaching the last three years, and her great sense of humor. I am anxious to see who will step up and replace Kelly’s consistency and “never give up attitude” in the back row. Marionna’s work ethic is unmatchable and will really be missed next year, as well as her great attitude. Olivia has led by example from the first open gym over the summer. Her dedication and communication have been crucial to our success this year. I wish all of these girls nothing but the best for the future, as I know they will go on to do great things.” Kelly’s Special Thanks: From Coach Christine: “I feel honored to have been given the opportunity to come back to my old high school and help coach with such a wonderful staff and really great kids. It has been such a special experience getting to know all of the girls and watching them grow as volleyball players and as young ladies from the beginning of the season to the end. It’s a shame that I only had one season with the seniors because they are a great group of girls who will be greatly missed. This 2011 varsity volleyball team would not have been the same without them and without all the different dynamics each individual brought to the team. Thank you seniors, and good luck to all of you on your journey to adulthood and know you will always be a part of the cougar volleyball alumni family!”

2. 5. Lisa Kisil Position: Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist Parents: Julie and Jerry Kisil Advice to the team: “Work hard every time you play. You will have the most fun if you give it your all.” Lisa’s Special Thanks: “I would like to thank my parents who have come to every game and supported me.” 10. Samantha Wingerter Position: Rightside Hitter Parents: Lori and Greg Wingerter Advice to the team: “Don’t take this time for granted, it goes by fast and you may not ever have it again. Always remember why you play this game and always play hard. Best of luck in future seasons “ What Lisa will miss the most about volleyball: “I will miss being with the girls everyday at practice.” Lisa’s greatest volleyball memory: “My greatest volleyball memory was making varsity as a Freshman.” After high school, Lisa plans on going to college to play volleyball. What Sam will miss the most about volleyball: “The thing I will miss most about volleyball is being a part of a team. This will be my last time being on a team, so I most definitely will miss the girls the most when it comes to volleyball.” Sam’s greatest volleyball memory: “Junior year when we locked Kelsey and Alyssa in the ball cart and they were making animal noises.” Sam’s Special Thanks: “Thank you to my mom and dad for going to all the games and encouraging me in everything I do.” After high school, Sam plans on attending the University of Detroit Mercy for their 5-year PA program.

4. 7. Olivia Radtke Position: Middle Blocker Parents: Cathy and Ed Radtke Advice to the team: “Make sure you work hard, and keep playing. Enjoy it while you can because before you know it, it will be over and all you’ll have is memories.” Olivia’s Special Thanks: “I would like to give a special thanks to my mom. She has gone to all my games and listened to me complain when I play bad and compliment me when I do well.” 6. Marionna Munaco Position: Defensive Specialist Parents: Jeanine and Vito Munaco Advice to the team: “Work hard. It pays off.” Marionna’s Special Thanks: “Most of all, I would like to thank my parents.” Marionna’s greatest volleyball memory: “My greatest volleyball memory is winning as a team.” After High School, Marionna plans on attending college. What Olivia will miss the most about volleyball: “I will miss the adrenaline rush you get from a close intense game and practicing, getting better everyday.” Olivia’s greatest volleyball memory: “My greatest memory is receiving an all player metal at the tournament at U of M Dearborn freshman year.” Olivia plans to go to college after high school and pick up some intermural volleyball games. What Marionna will miss the most about volleyball: “I will miss being with my younger friends on the team.”
