2 Idea So basically I'm gonna use a pen as a main object. I’ll make it look like the pen coming outside from a hole in a cardboard box. Then I’ll slowly pick up the pen and write the text “pen” into the cardboard box, but I won’t write it and instead I will use pins to make it look like text. Positive aspects: Can be done using any camera Can be done using any camera Easy to get cardboard box Easy to get cardboard box Can be done in home as well Can be done in home as well Negative aspects: Takes a lot of time to take pictures and put pins Takes a lot of time to take pictures and put pins Time management Time management Need more than 1 people Need more than 1 people

3 Reference: Reference: I’ve seen some videos in YouTube and got this idea. Audience: Audience: Kids and adults who likes to watch animation ideas created by other people. Participants: Participants: I need someone to use the camera as I myself gonna write my name and I might probably need assistant to cut the pencil into pieces.

4 Graphics: Graphics: I would analyse the pictures and if I find anything wrong such as holes in cardboard then I can fix it by changing its colour and any colour correction as well. Sound Track: Sound Track: I would like to use a soundtrack from an anime as background music else it would be boring just to see the pictures. 5 Week 1 – Started the new assignment in first half by looking at different animation techniques in internet and their definition, wrote some info about them and put a picture as an example of what it looks like. On second half we had to think of an idea to make an animation using a certain animation technique call Stop Motion. So I started thinking and looking at videos in internet to get some ideas and it took a bit longer than I expected but it’s worth it. Week 2 – Researched about animation a bit more and looked into websites to find out in which things animation is used for and made some notes about them as well as putting the link of information, explained which animation technique is it and demonstrated the strength and weaknesses of it, though I couldn’t finish all research and hopefully gonna finish next week. On the second half, got an idea for my animation by looking at the videos on websites and started making a PowerPoint about it hopefully I’ll start capturing pictures next week. Week 3 – Took my time to research what left about animation techniques and the different things it used on, finished research and started working on my own animation video. Took the pictures I need using camera and a small tripod and it took around 30-45minutes to finish and I got over 70 pictures as well as some pictures that were mistakably taken so had to delete those. Moved the pictures from camera to my USB stick to work on it next week. Week 4 – Finished off a bit of research I forgot to complete but it took time as college internet had some problems, so I used my mobile internet but it was slow a bit so took time. Then I started working on my animation video and completed it. The premiere pro was not responding due to college server problem but as soon as it started working I saved the project and output the video file and it worked out well. After that I started making a PowerPoint and put all my works for this project into that and its all done pretty well. Log

6 Weakness – I had some real issues with time management at first 2 weeks as I couldn’t think of an idea. I didn’t have much info about working with premiere pro in different settings so had to research some of it such as sound fading etc. What did I learn? Well I learnt how to work on animation and making a proper use of premiere pro while it comes to the point I have to use images to make a video not by using a video clip or something. Learnt to work with some new settings in premiere pro as well as putting soundtrack and crop it in better way. What I had problems with? At the first I had problems thinking of an idea for my animation so I started looking at videos to get some idea but it took a lot of time because I wanted to make something unique. Then I had some problems with time management and working with premiere pro. On the last day of the project college had internet problems so I couldn’t save one (not responding) of my work and had to re-do it but it wasn’t much so didn’t create a big problem. Strength – I overcome all problems and worked out the project pretty well. I went for a simple idea instead of making a complicated animation and it saved my time. I installed premiere pro in my home laptop so I can work on it if I have problems on college software and that’s what I did to make the animation video output and it worked out well as I expected.
