3 Treaty of Versailles, June 1919 Caused resentment throughout Germany Failed to bring peace and became a cause of starting WWII

4 Land was taken away from Germany Poland, a new nation, was created Reparations – Germany had to pay money for causing WWI War guilt – said Germany was responsible for causing WWI League of Nations was created The Versailles Treaty
