Tuesday, 5 January 2016 Welcome back! I hope your break was the best it could be! It’s time to get back down to it. We will have our library visit, where EVERYONE will check out 2-3 books to start them off on the RIGHT foot for this quarter of AR reading. You will want to be looking for books at the TOP of your reading range, because tomorrow we will take the STAR test and your range could change. This is your chance to show how much of a reading champ you’ve been by showing all of the growth you’ve made. We will get a step ahead with a new book today. Pick up a reading log on the front desk and immediately fill in your LEXILE/ZPD from last quarter. Fill in all other blanks that you can. If you have any books in your locker that need returned or that you are reading – immediately get them now! With your time, search and prepare titles you would be interested in at the TOP of your reading range. Write these titles on the BACK of your log.
