Who else benefits from tourism? Shops Restaurants Craft sales

What is Eco-Tourism? It is a form of tourism which is environmentally friendly. Eco-tourism projects in our area are: introducing more cycle paths Airlines such as EasyJet bring people to The North East (Newcastle) by introducing emission reduction projects.

What are the benefits of Eco-Tourism? Ecotourism helps to: Educate the traveller Provides funds for conservation Directly benefits the economic development of local communities

Organic food is a product of eco-tourism used in restaurants supermarkets tourist attractions All in the North East. Northumbria Larder is the North East's prime source of regional Fine Food and Drink. Organic Food

Northumbria larder Northumbria Larder was set up in 2001 following the foot and mouth outbreak. This threatened the livelihoods of farmers, food producers and suppliers.
