Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position.

 Denotation: dictionary definition surrounding a word  Connotation: Emotion surrounding a word

 Find words with positive or negative connotation

 Choose a position either for or against the effects of social media. Write a paragraph expressing your own position of 8-10 sentences using at least 10 words with positive or negative connotation.

 Write a paragraph as if you are a newspaper journalist describing an aspect of social media. Remove all words with positive and negative connotation from your paragraph of 8-10 sentences. We will use peer review to be sure that you have achieved absolute objectivity.
