Introduction Elizabeth Blackwell became the 1 st women to earn a medical degree on January 11 th, I think that is an amazing accomplishment for a women in the late 1800’s to become a doctor.

Birth Certificate Elizabeth Blackwell was born on February 3,1821 to Samuel and Hanna Blackwell in Counterslip Bristol, England

Diary Entry Dear Diary, Today I am sitting in our home in Counterslip Bristol, waiting for our school lesson to begin, my brothers are fighting over which seat they shall sit in, while my sister wants me to play dress up.
