2 Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman doctor
Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman doctor. I chose her because I believe she showed good perseverance , and because I am considering becoming a doctor when I grow up.

4 Dear, Diary Dear, Diary Today father decided to move us to America, he hopes to continue his sugar company there. I just dislike how he moves us from place to place and never stay there for long, maybe our new home will be different.

5 FIRST WOMAN DOCTOR! As Elizabeth Blackwell graduated she became the first woman doctor. Many still think her crazy, but she is obviously sane enough to be a doctor. Graduated from Geneva Medical School at top of her class. She was banned from practicing in most hospitals so is now moving to Paris to study more there.

1832:Sugar factory destroyed in fire- move to New York 1838: Samuel Dies : Elizabeth Teaches in a school in Kentucky 1849: Awarded her medical degree 1868:Opens the fist Medical school for women 1910: Elizabeth dies
