2. Introduction
Betsy Ross was a fascinating person. Her childhood was sad and dramatic. She ended up to do something great.

3. Childhood
Betsy Ross was born on January 1,1752. Betsy went to school but her classes ended at the age of twelve. Some girls quit way younger than that. Then she met John at her fathers shop. Then they became great friends. Betsy and John wanted to marry so they did.

4. Family
Betsy’s family did not want her to marry John. But it decidedly was so. But John died in an explosion. Later on Betsy remarried another John but he died because the British caught him at sea, put him in prison, and he died of illness. Then Betsy married again.

5. Accomplishments
Betsy’s accomplishments were making the first American flag. She saw George Washington. She had 5 children. She made clothes. She was a good business woman. Her husband was a congressman. She had three husbands.

6. Conclusion
Betsy Ross was helpful. She made the first American flag. She worked with five children. We should be very happy with her.
