The voiceless By Mia

What is Voiceless Voiceless is when you have no voice and are not able to be heard because of your age, race or gender. Being voiceless is when you don’t have the right to express your opinions and if you do you can be punished and put in jail. It is also when you don’t have right to speak your opinion and are discriminated because of your appearances.

The issue with this cause Every day thousand of people are being left voiceless as they are discriminated because of their appearance and thoughts. In our world today millions of people are being left voiceless and millions of those people are under the age of 18. Not everyone is getting a say and in some countries women aren’t even allowed to vote! Honestly, this isn’t fair or right as some of the things women aren’t allowed to vote for include who will be the president or leader of their country meaning that the votes wouldn’t be fair or equal.

Overseas Child Brides In 2007 Nelson Mandela wanted to give a voice to the voiceless children of communities in Africa. The average age for marriage in these communities is 12 years old. They are not given a choice about who or when they marry, when they have children and their education. They are vulnerable and voiceless

What can we do? As a country (seeing as kids don’t have a say) we can support kids especially children who are living in situations they cannot control for example; children who are abused, children in foster care and children with disabilities. We can use this information to educate people and make them aware of this issue and what's happening. We can support organisations who assist the voiceless, make a change in the world and donate now at: =form1&df_id=15880&idb=[[S76:idb]]&DONATION_LEVEL_ID_SEL ECTED=1&15580.donation=root
