3 Human Rights. Rights a person possesses simply because he or she is human.

4 Articles 1-5. These articles talk about freedoms, and the rights we have a people in general.

5 Articles 8-11. These are our rights that have to do with the law, and rights to fair trials.

6 Articles 12-15. These articles talk about rights to have a home and all the necessities people need. They also talk about how you can live wherever you want.

7 Article 16. This talks about the right to marriage and to have a family.

8 Articles 18 & 19. These articles talk about how you can believe what you want, and how you can speak your mind.

9 Article 23. This article talks about right to work and have a job.

10 Article 24. This talks about our right to rest and relaxation.

11 Article 25. This article talks about the rights we have to live a decent life. Including food, clothes, a home, and medical care.

12 Article 26. Article 26 talks about our right to an education, free of cost, required for all.

13 Article 27. This article talks about our rights to the world of art, music, and books.

14 Articles 28-30. These articles talk about how no one has the right to take away our rights.

15 In Charge of Human Rights. The United Nations is in charge of our human rights, and protecting them.

16 Most Common Human Rights Declaration. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (UDHR)

17 Does Everyone Have Rights? No, not everyone has these rights. People are stripped of them everyday.

18 What Kinds of Rights Don’t People Get? Examples: some women can’t go to school, some kids are forced to work in armies (Africa), some people aren’t allowed to work, etc.

19 Why Are Human Rights Important? They give us our rights to be free, without these rights our country wouldn’t be what it is.

20 Worst Human Rights Broken. The worst thing that breaks human rights is Genocide. The slaughter of a group in purpose of killing off a group of people because of race, religion, or beliefs.

21 Think? Think about what you would do if you were somewhere else, and didn’t have these rights. What would life be like?
