Materials Planner Text Book Pencil / Pen Pocket Folder Notebook of paper Assignments

Portfolio 40 Points each quarter At the end of each quarter I will collect portfolios which will be put in a pocket folder These are meant to be easy points In your portfolio you should have all assignments, quizzes and tests for that quarter

Assignments Each assignment will be worth 10 points There are only a few exceptions

Late Work There should not be any late work Assignments will be checked at the beginning of class to see if they are done Points will be deducted if assignments are late

Late Pass Each student will receive 2 late passes per quarter This means the assignment must be turned in the next day or it will be marked as late Once the late passes are used assignments will have points deducted. One day late 40% and two days or more 50% off.

Quizzes Fridays will be quiz days and covering what we did that week Points values will change from quiz to quiz 8 point to 20 point quizzes are very common

Tests All tests will be either 50 or 100 points (most being 100 pts.) All tests you will have most of two class periods Corrections can be made after each test for ½ credit per problem and all work being shown

Notes Each lesson will have notes to be shown We will do these in class together (there is no reason not to earn these points) Notes will be worth 10 points each week Notes will be checked on Fridays If you are absent Mon. – Wed. you should still have notes due on Friday. They will be taken from the book

Extra Credit There will be some extra credit on each test I do not just give out extra credit Follow directions and get all work done on time and this should not be an issue

Participation Easy points!!! Do your best everyday and be here You have the opportunity to earn 4 points every day for things like behavior, materials, following directions, working in class, …
