Attention // SATS will not be marked if: Media production at Point Cook Senior will not include guns, drug use, excessive or gratuitous violence, nudity, sex scenes, driving, the consumption of alcohol, use of cigarettes, any illegal or potentially dangerous acts or acts that may be deemed inconsistent with the values of our community.

Production Exercises Unit 3: Outcome 2 Short task where you get to develop technical skills Devote one week of class time to each Complete 2 production exercises For each production exercise you wrtie a short intention and evaluation

Examples or production exercises Film: complete a short editing task to learn how to use an editing program Experimentation with colour grading to achieve a particular effect Photography: experimentation with aperture or other manual settings to achieve a particular effect. Print: completing mock ups to learn about visual effects Learning how to use in-design, illustrator or Photoshop

Development and preparation of a media production design plan in a selected media form for a specified audience 3. Application and understanding of styles, codes and conventions appropriate to the selected media form

You are marked on 7 criteria 4. Realisation of an individual or a distinctive media product appropriate to the intention for the selected audience/s that demonstrates appropriate style 5. Skill in the operation of equipment and use of materials and processes appropriate to the selected media forms. 6. Management of the production of a media product 7. Realisation of the production design plan in the media product
