Exclamatory or Imperative Sentences

What is an exclamatory sentence? An exclamatory sentence shows strong feelings and excitement. An exclamatory sentence ends in an exclamation mark.

Examples of exclamatory sentences What a game that was! Our team is great! We won in the last minute! No one can beat us! We are the best!

What is an imperative sentence? An imperative sentence gives a command. An imperative sentence ends in a period.
