2 Declarative Sentence: makes a statement; ends with a period I am going to Lambeau Field. Imperative Sentence: gives a command or makes a request; subject is understood you; usually ends in period but can end in exclamation point Turn off the light, please. Watch out for the bee!

3 Interrogative Sentence: asks a question; ends with a question mark Did you eat lunch? Exclamatory Sentence: shows excitement or expresses strong feeling; ends with exclamation point We won a trip to Disney World!
