He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, He was born during a time when black people did not have the rights which they have today. Sometimes blacks would be forced to stand in the white parts at the front of the bus. On december,1, 1955 Mrs Rosa Parks was a black woman and she is not allowed to sit on the bus, but she still said to the white people no I won’t move on the bus. Growing up in Georgia, USA, Martin Luther king Jr. entered a school without paying at age 5.

In 1964 he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in Norway. He gave the 54,000 prize money to the group of people that are fighting for the black and white people to connect. On August 28, 1963 Martin Luther King and other leaders lead a thousand of people holding board to tell the other people into Washington D.C over 200,000 people walking and holding board from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial. It was here Martin Luther King gave his I have a dream message. It was at this walking on the road where Martin gave his I have a dream speech. This speech has become one of the famous speeches in history. Martin Luther King Jr. also protested against the Vietnam war.

He believe black and white people should connect together. He believe it doesn’t matter about the colour of the skin. People did not agree with him so he made them believe in black and white by the speech.

Martin Luther King had a big impact on our world. Because he made people so interested in black and white people and he work so hard now we don’t have separate bus, school and other thing and we don’t care about black and white people. And so we are the bus, school and every other thing else and everywhere else and now we don’t care about black and white. And he got shot by James Earl Ray.
