Platform (What they believe in/What is their purpose):  Committed to socialism, democracy, ecology, feminism and racial equality.  Everyone is Equal.  Aspire for a world of freedom and peace

Political World (Perspective on role of government)  Resident non-citizens right to vote, particularly in local and school elections  Free & equal access to radio & television for all candidates  Stop all U.S. arms exports & trade  Dissolve all military pacts  Election should be by direct vote of the people  Eliminate electoral college  Repeal the sales tax

Economic World:  Expand safe routes for foot and bicycle traffic.  Massive development of public transportation systems that are reliable, frequent, free or at nominal fares and environmental sound.  Resident-controlled community renovation programs to create, not destroyed, low-and moderate-income housing  Demand a socially useful job at union pay- levels or a guaranteed dignified income for everyone.

Social World:  A multi-source energy system, development of solar technology & other renewable, non-polluting energy sources.  Free, High-Quality health care for everyone  More community health-care facilities  Special attention to preventing epidemics of communicable diseases, such as AIDS  Extra funds for tuition, free higher education to all, more funding's for education.

Cultural World:  Provide uncensored government funding for the ordinary people to create and enjoy art.  Want equal treatment and benefits under the law for all families.  Guarantee equal child custody, adoption

Liberal & Conservative: Liberal issues:  Enforce non- discrimination in hiring & promotion with affirmative action where necessary  Full political, social, & economic rights for resident non-citizens. Conservative issues:  Individuals should be admitted to schools and hired for jobs based on their ability.  The free market system, competitive capitalism, and private enterprise create the greatest opportunity and the highest standard of living for all.
