What is a Verb?  A word or group of words that expresses action or doing.

Main Verb  The most important word(s) in a verb phrase.  A verb phrase includes two or more words.

Helping Verb  Works with the main verb to tell about an action. Am Is Are Was Were Will Has Have Had Does Do Did Could Would Should

Action Verbs  Tells what the subject of a sentence does, did, or will do.
