Summary Act 3.3 Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence for guidance and when he hears of his own banishment he feels that death would have been better. Friar Lawrence again chastises Romeo; this time for not being grateful and instead, being weak and crying. Nurse shows up to give Romeo a ring from Juliet and stays to appreciate Friar Lawrence’s advice to Romeo.

Summary Act 3.4 Capulet, Lady Capulet and Paris discuss Juliet and marriage. Paris acknowledges that this is a hard time for the family and Capulet insists the Paris marry Juliet in four days and that the ceremony not be too big and celebratory. Why has Capulet changed his attitude about whether or not Juliet should marry?
