Organizing your Notebook The cover of your notebook should be an expression of one self  Mandatory Elements: Name(First, Last), Course Name, Period  Collage  Drawing  Pictures  Coat of Arms All images and words must be school appropriate No empty spaces

Table of Contents The first 6-10 pages should be set aside for a table of contents It is your job to stay up to date with the order of assignments (notes, group work, individual assignments) You will keep a title of the assignment and page number

Unit One Pagers At the beginning of each Unit you will preview the Unit by making a one pager that includes:  A unit name and Number CP World History: Unit 1 Democracy and Political Thinkers You will complete one for each unit of study Directions:  Use unlined white paper  Select theme or quotations(s) dealing with the topics listed below and write them on the paper.  --Use them as a springboard to explore your own ideas.  Use a visual image or images, either drawn or cut out from magazines, to create a central focus for your page.  Cluster around this image(s) impressions, feelings, or thoughts regarding what you have read or researched.  Develop a question or two and answer them  Create the one-pager in such a way that your audience will understand something of your thinking about what you have read or researched.  Feel free to use colored pencils, pens, crayons, markers, etc.…  - The more visually appealing, the more your peers can learn from your pattern Examples of excellent one-pagers are located on my web site
