Do YOU have something to say? Key Club is a friendly environment excited for input. Simply talk to Olivia If you would like to make an addition to the monthly newsletter. All encouraging stories and volunteering ideas are welcome. To begin this newsletter I’d like to thank everyone for agreeing to invest their time into Boyd Key Club. This is going to be a great year and we are going to make a huge difference in our community. Although School is beginning to demand more and more time out of our hectic lives, it is great to be around people who still prioritze selflessness and volunteering. As our lives get busier it is easy to think we have the biggest problems in the world, but, as the Rachel Challenge assembly revealed, you never know what other people are going through. I’m proud to be surrounded by such genuinely sweet human beings and I hope that ya’ll appreciate these moments as well. The school year is just beginning but it will go by fast so let’s take every opportunity to help others and make an impact in thier lives. No one can always dedicate hours of their day to serivce, but if we make a positive impact, even just once a day, in someone else’s life, we can still make this world a better place. With the Best Wishes, Your Boyd Key Club Editor, Oilvia Murphy

Service Project of the Month: Member of the Month Finally, as we all become official members of Key Club, a member of the Month can be chosen! This is an honorable award we give to members we see dedicating themselves to the community. Members can be nominated by anyone and will receive recognition at the monthly meeting and be given an official document memorizing this astounding achievement. Halloween is coming! Do you know what that means? Trick or treating!!! And this year, not only can you heap tons of candy into your beautiful face, you can also improve the lives of children around the world! UNICEF uses the money raised to get clean water, food, and medicine to kids in needs. We have adorable trick-or- treating boxes for anyone who wants to participate, and all members will receive an hour of service for every 20$ they raise. Silly Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

Meetings: The 6 th and 20th (Every other Tuesday) Turn in Dues: the 6th October Calendar
